Carolyn Breaux is a Louisiana native who has been painting since the age of 14. Her work has been exhibited in many venues- Louisiana State Archives, Frameworks Gallery, DesignStudios, and many others. Her work can be found in corporate and private collections.

Carolyn concentrates her work in oil painting and teaching workshops. She is inspired by the beauty and color of nature and the rich pigments found in oil.

She loves learning and trying new oil techniques in painting. She has done extended studies with internationally known artist and writer Betty Edwards (Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain and Drawing on the Beauty of Color) and teaches her 5-day workshops. She has studied with many other renowned artists including Leonard Wren, Michael del Priore, Ken Hosmer, Judi Betts, and many others. She hopes to always continue to study and learn as it adds excitement and fun to her work.
